Once in a Blue Moon

Astrologically new moons are thought to be pretty powerful because of the perfect alignment of the moon, the sun, and the earth. For three celestial object to be in the exact location for an eclipse to happen is pretty crazy to imagine. And for it to happen twice in one month, that is where the power is. The writers at astrostyle.com like to say that the devil is in the details but so is a chorus of angles when it comes to the stars and our life. It is very precise and intricate but when the details are in place something magical happens.

We use the phrase once in a blue moon to mean that something doesn't happen often, but blue moons happen every 2 and a half years (ish). Which I could argue IS kinda rare. But anyway you slice it I think the blue moon time should be used to recognize all of the blue moon moments and people in your life. Be grateful for the special friends and family who you are connected to and the blue moon opportunities you have had in your life that have made you YOU. On tomorrow's blue moon practice gratitude.

Also take the day to do something that is a "once in a blue moon" activity for you. Maybe there is a new restaurant you want to try or a new movie out! Try something new or do something old you haven't done in a while.
