I am #AerieReal because I know my worth is not defined by how "good" I am at something but how good I am to my body and my soul. I am #AerieReal because the acceptance this campaign has shown towards me has given me the knowledge to view others with this same way. I am #AerieReal because I know that at our core everyone is made of the same amazing light and once you realize that it becomes easy to view others for their true selves and not their outer appearance. I am #AerieReal.

#AerieReal is a body positive movement started by Aerie, a part of American Eagle. Aerie uses all shapes and sizes of models for their clothing and has pledged to not retouch/airbrush/photoshop their pictures. I love Aerie's message and have chosen to share what makes me #AerieReal to bring awareness to all types of bodies and all types of beauty. I think part of yoga is being kind to your body and accepting of others. One of Patanjali's Yamas focuses on non-violence in thought, action, and words towards yourself and others. Having a healthy self-image and loving your body the way it is is practicing non violence towards yourself. Not judging others by their looks and choosing to get to know the real person underneath and part of non violence towards others.
